Marketing Manager

Communications manager - Birmingham / £50k-£60k / Hybrid

Working with a food retail client of mine who are growing out their teams and are looking for a communications manager. You will be essential in promoting brand awareness, engaging customers, and driving growth for one of their main brands. This role will involve maximizing existing sponsorships, exploring new brand partnerships, and strategically utilising digital channels to enhance our reputation and reach.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop strategic brand partnerships.
• Negotiate partnership terms and opportunities.
• Oversee partnership execution for maximum ROI.
• Ensure current sponsorships are maximized for impact.
• Create and execute plans that drive brand visibility and engagement.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital communications strategy. This includes overseeing content creation and distribution across various digital channels, monitoring performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for consistent messaging.
• Optimise digital content and identify new opportunities. This involves leveraging data analytics to refine content performance and explore emerging digital trends.
• Build relationships with media outlets.
• Create and distribute press materials.
• Manage media inquiries and coordinate interviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations.
• Proficiency in content management systems and graphic design software.
• Strong understanding of brand management, digital marketing, and media relations.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
