1st Line Technical Support – French Speaking
Location: Saffron Walden, Essex
Hours: Monday – Friday, weekly rotational shift patterns of the following:
8:00am – 4:30pm
9:00am – 5:30pm
3:30pm – 12:00am (to be worked from home)
Salary: £23,000 - £27,000
Benefits: 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, Pension, Company Bonus Scheme, Employee perks and discount scheme, paid leave between Christmas and New Year, free parking.

Are you fluent in both French and English with a knack for solving technical issues? My client in Saffron Walden is growing and looking for a dynamic 1st Line Technical Support superstar to join their team!
In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact, handling front-line enquiries through email, phone, and a live intercom support system. Your technical know-how and excellent communication skills will shine as you troubleshoot and assist customers, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience every time.
In addition you will also use your French-speaking skills to assist the Head of Sales in building customer relationships.

Duties:
* Act as a 1st line IT Support person for all incoming support enquiries
* Be capable of troubleshooting the basic and advanced areas of the platform.
* Assist with the replication of issues as necessary.
* Provide the best level of support possible through an Intercom support platform.
* Where required, assist from a technical perspective with French-speaking commercial opportunities.
* Handle all incoming enquiries, ensuring they are communicated with other teams if required.
* Participate in daily support calls to ensure knowledge sharing and handover of issues.
* Escalate issues to the 2nd line or senior sales team as required.
What we are looking for:
* Confident, friendly, self-motivated with a customer first attitude to building relationships and winning business.
* Professional and a team player.
* Accountable and trustworthy with excellent customer service skills.
* Able to speak both Fluent French and English.
* A strong knowledge of PC hardware, the Windows platform and application support.
