Company Overview:

We are a well-established lubricants company located in our newly built professional premises in Leyton, London. Specialising in engine oils and other lubricant products for the automotive industry, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Sales Specialist who is customer-focused and looking for a long-term career in our organization.


About the Role:

We are looking for a self-motivated, sales-driven individual with a proven ability to develop customer relationships and drive business growth. You will be responsible for representing multiple supplier ranges, including workshops, garages, commercial specialists, agricultural plants, and automotive customers.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop new business opportunities within the lubricants sector, focusing on the greater London area and surrounding regions.

- Conduct B2B sales of Universal Lubricants products through face-to-face meetings and field sales.

- Meet weekly sales targets and report directly to the Director.

- Manage and grow existing client accounts through regular communication and relationship-building.

- Identify, negotiate, and execute new business opportunities.

- Collaborate with marketing to promote products, services, and special offers.

- Maintain accurate records in the CRM database.

- Build and nurture relationships with suppliers to provide efficient customer support.

- Work closely with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.


About You:

- Previous sales experience in the oil, lubricants, or automotive industry is essential.

- Located in the UK, ideally in London/nearby locations

- Possess a UK driving license and full working visa (essential)

- Strong command of English and excellent customer service skills.

- A self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude.

- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with potential customers.

- Experience with Sage and Microsoft Office is advantageous.

- Target-driven, resilient, and able to work under pressure.

- A natural salesperson with excellent interpersonal skills.

- Organised, with exceptional multitasking abilities.
