Responsibilities of Our Depot Managers:

• Team Leadership/People Management: Supervising all depot staff, providing training and support, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Handle all aspects of people management.
• Health and Safety Management: Ensuring practices are up-to-date and followed by all employees, customers, and visitors.
• Fleet Management: Ensuring legal compliance is monitored and maintained.
• Sales: Evaluate local market conditions and identify current and potential sales opportunities. Upselling.
• Forecasting: Reviewing and assessing forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans.
• Budget Management: Manage the set budget and allocate funds appropriately.
• Performance Management: Enhance the performance of depot personnel through training, coaching, development, and motivation.
• Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, ensuring timely restocking, and minimising discrepancies.
• Logistics Coordination: Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring all safety processes are followed, conducting regular safety checks, and addressing any issues promptly
• Oversee Operations: Distribution, customer service, human resources, administration, and sales.
