The Role

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant, youll use your expertise to manage and deliver both office and site-based projects. Key responsibilities include:


Writing technical and commercial proposals
Analysing in-service damage, maintenance issues, and failures
Leading investigations using specialised equipment
Writing detailed technical reports
Collaborating with engineers on related mechanical, metallurgical, and electrical issues
Managing projects to meet time, cost, and performance goals


Youll also help grow our business by:


Identifying and maintaining client relationships
Attending conferences and networking events
Promoting RINAs services

About You

Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering
Specialist training in rotating equipment
Working towards Chartered Engineer status
Strong knowledge of rotating machinery (e.g., gearboxes, pumps, turbines)
Experience in technical project management
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills

Knowledge and Experience

o Deep knowledge of rotating machinery (e.g., gearboxes, pumps, diesel engines, compressors, turbines).
o Understanding of materials processing and in-service degradation of metallurgical properties.
o Familiarity with relevant codes such as API (610-619, 691, and 692).
o Experience in life assessments, damage mechanisms, and investigating the physical condition of electromechanical equipment.
o Proven track record of managing and delivering technical projects.


Skills:
o Methodical and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
o Effective communicator with strong listening skills and a flexible approach to work.
o Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
o Exceptional report writing skills.
