Technical Project Manager / Delivery Lead

Location: Northampton (2 days per week on site)

Grade: AVP

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + 20% Bonus

Are you a seasoned project manager with a strong background in technology delivery? Join Our Client and play a pivotal role in leading end-to-end strategic technology programmes. We are seeking a motivated individual who can manage multiple work streams, align stakeholders, and deliver results across a complex technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning & Managing Change:
• Develop business cases from inception to execution.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business, operations, and technology.
• Lead comprehensive planning to prepare for and implement change.
• Delivering Strategic Projects:
• Manage project scope, costs, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
• Identify dependencies and align cross-functional teams.
• Ensure all relevant documentation is in place and governance requirements are met.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including Director-level colleagues.
• Influence internal and external relationships to drive decision-making and deliver change.
• Ensure project risks and issues are identified and mitigated.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects in matrixed environments.
• Proficient in Software Project Delivery, Project Risk Management, and Stakeholder Management.
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage expectations at all levels.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of the payments industry and the financial services sector.
• Project Management certification (PM or Agile certification).
