Insolvency & Restructuring Lawyer

Gambit Search are working with a prestigious law firm, who are looking for a key hire to join their in London.

As an insolvency lawyer, you'll be working closely with two partners primarily on non-contentious corporate insolvency mandates but there will also be a percentage of contentious matters to handle. This team also sits in the wider finance team, which means there is opportunity to get involved in transactional finance matters as well. Ideally, you'll have worked on application documents throughout your career to date.

The insolvency work will be liquidations, LPA receiverships, restructuring plans and CVAs.

The contentious matters will involve fraud & asset tracing, preferential claims, fraudulent transactions and more.

As a practice, they pride themselves on working on "high-value" transactions.

Given the size of the team, you won't be pigeon-holed into any type of work; you'll be given full exposure and variety of work to deal with. This will open fast-track your development as a lawyer in addition to visibility with the partners.

The team are looking for an insolvency solicitor around 1-4 PQE, ideally UK qualified.
