Urban Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or support the design and execution of large-scale, cutting-edge urban planning projects.
• Coordinate a diverse team of professionals, including urban planners, environmentalists, engineers, and landscape architects to deliver holistic solutions.
• Bring your in-depth knowledge of urban design best practices and sustainable development to drive innovative solutions.
• Ensure that project reports, presentations, and drawings are delivered with exceptional quality and creativity.
• Engage directly with high-profile clients, presenting visionary urban designs and strategic recommendations.
• Mentor and inspire junior designers and interns, nurturing the next generation of urban thinkers.
• Take on leadership roles on specific projects, guiding teams to success.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a postgraduate qualification in Urban Design or Planning from a recognized university.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in urban design, with previous Middle Eastern project experience being highly desirable.
• Exceptional skills in planning, presentation, and creative problem-solving.
• Strong hand-rendering and sketching skills are a plus!
• Experience in the private sector and working with international, multidisciplinary teams.
• The ability to travel on short notice for overseas assignments and work within culturally diverse settings.
• Fluent English and excellent report-writing abilities. Knowledge of a second language is a bonus.
