Requirements

The Role

You will manage a team of dedicated engineers, building strong relationships with key partners across several areas of technology, work closely with other technology teams in cyber security, data, client support, delivery and platforms, and help support the CIO as he designs and implements the overall group technology strategy. They will be the subject matter expert for a broad range of technologies and configurations, and their work will lead directly to improved customer experiences, innovative developments to product and proposition, better enablement of work in other areas of the business, and a critical contributor to the company’s cyber security posture.

The successful candidate will be able to think strategically and lead a high performance team, while organising resources to manage budget and deliver a diverse set of requirements from clients and internal stakeholders. They will enable colleague teams in operations, marketing, finance, property and sales to deliver their ambitions and meet their targets. The individual will be a key member of the senior leaders in the business.

Requirements

• Over 10 years’ technology management experience
• Provision of technology to external users
• Architectural design and governance
• Infrastructure deployment & management for multi-site estates
• Microsoft Azure & other Microsoft technologies
• B2B technology sales & management
• Recognised cyber security practices & accreditations
• People management and team leadership

You will also need extensive practical experience of:

o Technology strategy development

o Large multi-site technology estates

o Budget definition & management

o Complex network configurations

o Technology installations into commercial real estate
