Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - Manchester – Ongoing Opportunity

Position Details:
Job Title: Community Psychiatric Nurse – Adult CMHT
Band: 6
Location: Manchester
Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
Working Hours: Full-time, Days
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £21 - £26 per hour (based on experience)
A Day in the Life of a Community RMN: As a community psychiatric nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to those in need. Your responsibilities will include:
Community Visits: Conduct regular home visits to assess and support patients, ensuring their care needs are met.
Medication Administration: Ensure timely delivery of prescribed medications, carefully monitoring their effects on patients.
Patient Engagement: Build strong relationships with patients, understanding their mental health conditions and providing tailored support, tracking progress or setbacks.
Risk Assessments: Evaluate risks to ensure the safety of patients and those around them, creating a secure and supportive environment during their treatment.
What We’re Looking For:
NMC Registration: Active registration as a mental health nurse.
Community Experience: Previous experience working in community mental health is essential.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, even under pressure.
Independent and Team Player: Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Dedication to Care: A passion for delivering the highest quality care to patients.
