A renowned museum in London is seeking Access Control Assistants to join their team onsite. This is a temporary ongoing role.
As an Access Control Assistant, you will be responsible for managing access to the premises and ensuring security protocols are followed.
Responsibilities include:
- Give a warm welcome to visitors and new team members, making sure everyone gets through check-in smoothly and gets their security badges as soon as possible.
- Handle correspondence, memos, and forms with a keen eye for detail, keep track of all incoming and outgoing mail and packages, and keep records super organised.
- Help with data entry tasks related to access control systems and record-keeping tasks, and make sure to keep everything accurate and up to date.
- Answer and manage phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
- Implement organisational procedures to manage access effectively.
The working hours for this role are 4 days on, 4 days off from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. Working on weekends may be required.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a physical DBS certificate (has to be valid within the last 5 years), a keen eye for detail, and strong administrative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft-based IT systems and databases is essential, with a minimum of one year experience. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you'll need to understand customer needs and respond effectively. You should also be able to make decisions within established procedures and escalate issues when necessary.
