Production Manager - Fine Jewellery

Placed has exclusively partnered with a global e-commerce retailer, supplying some of most beautiful diamond jewellery in the world.

My client is looking for a Production Manager to and improve production procedures, processes and controls and implement improvements.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader who can effectively manage cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.

You will possess a keen eye for detail, a strategic mindset, and the ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and technologies.

This role will oversee the supply chain, quality control, and various jewellery-making functions, including setters, mounters, and polishers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimise manufacturing processes and flow to enhance productivity, efficiency and throughput across production
• Manage and coordinate operations across supply chain, quality control, and production team.
• Implement and oversee process and flow improvements
• Develop and execute strategies to meet production targets, reduce bottlenecks and maintain quality standards
• Analyse data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of engagement and excellence Required Skills and Experience:
• Proven ability to bridge the gap between people, processes, and technology to increase productivity
• Strong passion for mentoring and developing highly engaged teams
• Demonstrate experience in implementing manufacturing flow improvements
• Exceptional organisational and strategic leadership skills
• Excellent commercial acumen with a talent for translating data into actionable strategies
• Extensive experience in process transformation, system implementations, and project management within manufacturing
• In-depth knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes, particularly in diamond jewellery production would be an advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 Years + experience in manufacturing operations (preferably in the jewellery industry)

4 days in the office (Mayfair, London) 1 day from home.
