A prestigious luxury country hotel in Uruguay is preparing for its grand opening and is currently building a talented team to bring this exceptional project to life. I am hiring an energetic and experienced Hotel General Manager who is passionate, driven, and highly detail-oriented. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations, ensuring top-tier standards across the property’s food and beverage outlets, and spearheading the training and development of department heads.

This is a unique opportunity to join a globally acclaimed boutique hotel group, with two additional openings planned for 2027, offering world-class luxury experiences. While the site is set to open in 2026, we are hiring now to assemble the team, understanding that you may currently be on a six-month notice period

About the position

• Responsible for a smooth running of the whole operation, from rooms to food to all aspects of the business
• Manage and coach the senior team and recruit this team for the new opening
• Work closely with all departments to ensure the best results are met
• Assume responsibility of the operations and financial results
• Reporting into the Ops Director for the group

The successful candidate

• Experience working in a similar luxury hotel or venue
• A strong understanding of operations, forecasting and budgets
• A high level of customer service
• Experience with VIP guests
• High volume experience
• Have a can-do attitude and be willing to go the extra mile
• Strong knowledge and a passion for food and drink
