An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading premium chilled food businesses as National Account Manager is now available. As a family owned second generation business, The UK business produces high quality private label value added, NPD driven chilled food products. The business has a glowing reputation across the industry, and this been recognised through several awards. The business has a significant presence across the grocery multiple retailers, and they have some extensive NPD in the pipeline. Following significant business growth and future business plans they are seeking a National Account Manager to join the team.

Role

As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of top 6 grocery retail accounts, key strategic customer partnerships. You will also take responsibility for a portfolio of key retail & foodservice relationships Working closely with internal & external product development teams you will drive a portfolio of highly NPD driven chilled food products across the mentioned categories. Reporting into the Sales Director, you can expect decisions to be made quickly, working with a great degree of autonomy to drive the business as well as offering personal career development.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must be a driven and dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the retail multiples, you will be operating at either National Account or Senior National Account Manager level. As for product background, experience with private label food products is essential, chilled experience would be a bonus. It is important you are self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail. We are looking for a loyal individual that wants to be a real part our long-term plans and growth strategy.

Benefits

£50,000 to £55,000, 15% bonus, £6,000 car allowance, healthcare, life assurance & benefits

This is an office-based position with an expectancy to be in their head office in Suffolk.
