Our client has grown from strength to strength, since their inception nearly 50 years ago. They are a multi-award winning, market-leading, manufacturer of construction products who pride themselves on developing top-class products whilst maintaining high-levels of customer satisfaction. Due to the business achieving and exceeding budgets over the last few years, we are currently seeking a high-performing Head of Transport to take ownership and accountability for the function.

Within the position you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective running of the Transport Department internally. You will promote a best-in-class approach to customer service, ensuring an excellent end to end customer service experience for all customers and partners. You will effectively manage all aspects of performance and system capability across the division by driving performance KPIs, employee engagement and operational efficiency.

To be successful in this role you must be able to match the ambition and drive of the business. You will have extensive experience of managing, developing and leading a successful Transport team. Your interpersonal skills are second to none, and you possess the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships both internally and externally.
