Location: Bracknell and surrounding areas
Charge rate: CIS £18-£19 per hour
Job type: 3months temp - perm
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join a social housing maintenance team. As a Social Housing Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring residents have well-maintained and safe homes. You will work on various repair and maintenance projects, contributing to the overall satisfaction of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform carpentry repairs and maintenance in social housing properties.
Install, repair, and replace doors, windows, cabinets, and other carpentry elements.
Identify and assess housing issues, providing effective solutions.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete work orders.
Ensure work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Uphold safety and quality standards at all times.
Communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in social housing or a similar field.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualification in Carpentry/ working towards
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant certifications.Benefits:
