Position: Plasma Cutter
We’re looking for a skilled Plasma Cutter to enhance our client’s operational team. If you have experience in plasma cutting and excel in a manufacturing environment, this role could be your perfect fit!
Your Role:
* Operate an Ajan machine with a 3m x 1.5m bed.
* Cut mild steel from 3mm to 20mm thickness.
* Ensure all products are cut precisely to specifications.
* Manage stock, sheet metal, and consumables.
* Operate an overhead crane and FLT combi truck.
What You’ll Bring:
* Ability to work from specifications, drawings, and instructions.
* Experience operating a plasma cutting machine.
* Strong attention to detail in performing quality checks against specifications.
* Competence in moving goods with an overhead crane.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is desirable.
What’s on Offer:
* Competitive pay up to £13.50 per hour DOE.
* Temporary role with potential for a permanent position.
* Working hours: Mon-Thu 8am-4:30pm & Fri 8am-2pm.
