Location: Bedford, UK

We are looking for a talented and experienced Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in Electrical Engineering to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical engineering systems, components, and products.
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, both remotely and on-site, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power supplies, control systems, and electrical panels.
Support clients with technical queries related to electrical circuits, wiring schematics, and electrical safety standards.
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges and provide insights for product improvements.
Develop and deliver technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for customers and internal teams.
Assist in the design and configuration of custom electrical solutions based on client needs.
Stay current with industry standards, new technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
Participate in on-call support rotations for critical electrical systems and emergency troubleshooting.Qualifications and Skills:

Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, control systems, and industrial electrical components.
Experience with electrical troubleshooting tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, PLCs).
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., BS7671, IEC).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex electrical issues.
Experience in using CAD software for electrical design and schematics is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
Relevant certifications (e.g., 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, CompEx) are advantageous.
