Data Scientist

Global Dimensions is a HUBZone, service disabled, veteran-owned small business based in Fredericksburg, VA. We are a dynamic, expanding company with exciting opportunities in language/culture, training/education/instruction, IT, cyber security, and intelligence (analysts, CI, HUMINT, SIGINT, etc.). Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Data Scientist for a temporary position in Molesworth, England.

Requirements

• TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with web scraping libraries (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy).
• Experience with NLP libraries and tools (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, TextBlob).
• Familiarity with machine learning and data classification techniques.
• Experience with data extraction and processing.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating external data sources
• Experience with automated summarization techniques.
• Knowledge of regular expressions for pattern matching.
