About our Client
The client has been active in the passive fire protection market sector for over 10 years with an established client base and consistent work across the UK.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the duties of the Contract Manager will include but not be limited to:
Monitor, analyse and communicate both production and client demands to site operatives to ensure timeous project delivery
Be up-to-date with legislations surrounding Passive Fire Protection and ensure the implementation accordingly
Work alongside the Operations Manager to meet and exceed both client and company expectations through agreed-upon objectives
Ensure that each assigned contract reaches budgetary and time milestones from start to handover
Maintaining effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders
Maintain records of contracts and the documentation thereof to complete fully compliant client files per project
Ensuring project operations is in accordance with client specification and on par with company policy
Aid in the development and motivation of operational staff
Report back on contracts that are at risk of falling outside of the time limits or budgetary requirements
Responsibility for day to day management of allocated portfolio of projects.
To liaise and maintain a good working relationship with Clients, Surveyors, other Project Managers and attend site meetings.
Ensure all works are carried out under health and safety guidelines.
Assist Surveyors and other Senior Management in the overall planning and management of projects.About the Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience in passive fire protection management of large-scale projects
A FIRAS Qualification or IFE Level 2 or 3 Passive Fire Protection required
SMSTS / SSSTS
CSCS Manager Card
A Flexible and self-starting ethos with a keen ability to prioritise
Strong leadership skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge and Experience of basic PC software
Commercial know-how
