Job Description QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of an accredited Personal Support Worker certificate course Knowledge of techniques used in caring for the elderly Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures Ability to provide resident care in accordance with application legislation, job routines, nursing care plans, ability to read and write English and understand both oral and written instructions in English Good attendance record is a must Must be available to work all shifts as required and weekends/holidays This is for information purposes only and is subject to change Mentally and physically able to perform duties as assigned Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to complete assignments in a timely manner All surge and 24/7 training are up to date Time Type: Part time When you choose to build your career with Extendicare, you’re joining a team dedicated to making a difference.
