THE ROLE Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs. Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment. Under the supervision of Recreation Program Coordinator, the Yoga Instructor plans, organizes and delivers Yoga classes. They demonstrate and instruct Yoga and fitness activities and techniques. They assemble supplies and equipment, as required. They attend to clients with special needs. They prepare class schedules. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses High school diploma Yoga Teachers Certificate Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications Experience Some years’ experience conducting Yoga classes Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
