We are also proud to be named Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures for 2023 Learn more at shn.ca Job Description: Position Overview: Reporting to the Manager, you will work independently within your scope of practice when the patient’s condition indicates predictable outcome and you will deliver nursing care based on a pre-set plan of care with a delineated range of intervention. You will collaborate with and get directions from the RN in situations that are beyond the scope of complexity designated to you as RPN. You will be part of a busy department with a combination of general and sub-specialty medicine, oncology and iodine therapy patients. 4D Medicine is a fast-paced medical unit that provides opportunity for nurses, including new graduates, to develop new practical skills and strengthen existing skills. In this unit, there is a staffing mix of both RN’s and RPN’s with a delivery care model of Total Patient Care. You may be scheduled at the General or Birchmount hospital based on departmental needs.
