Job Description

Dries Van Noten is a well-known brand in the fashion industry. Dries established in 1986 his own label and opened his first boutique in the Belgian fashion capital, Antwerp. In 1993 he brought his women’s collection to the Paris runways for the first time. Today, he has own stores in Antwerp, Paris, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu, in addition to more than 500 multi-brand partners. Van Noten’s vision, skill and devotion to the artistry of his designs elevates his work to transcend trends and time, mastering beauty, craft and function. In June 2018, Puig entered the capital structure of Dries Van Noten as majority owner. And in 2022, the fragrance and makeup collections were launched.


The Opportunity


As a Sales Associate for Dries Van Noten at our Quai Malaquais store, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer service and driving high-quality sales. Your role will involve building strong client relationships, adapting to their needs, and embodying the Dries Van Noten philosophy. Your dedication and professionalism will contribute to the store’s success and enhance the overall customer experience.


Your Tasks & responsibilities


  • Focus on generating high quality sales across all product categories: fragrance, makeup and accessories, developing strong client relationships, and delivering outstanding services
  • Make sure to adapt to each client, identifying their needs and inspiring them across the Dries Van Noten fragrance, makeup and accessories collections
  • Execute sales and operations in an effective and efficient manner to achieve and exceed planned daily, weekly and monthly sales goals
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers and peers
  • Identify and handle client enquiries and concerns
  • Provide a flawless selling ceremony and impeccable customer experience
  • Communicate Dries Van Noten brand aesthetic, philosophy and lifestyle to the customer
  • Execute constant follow-up and retention activities to nurture and develop the client portfolio


The tasks above are not conclusive and may change according to the needs of the company. A flexible approach towards tasks and responsibilities is always needed.


Profile

  • At least 3 years of relevant customer facing experience in high-end retail, preferably in fragrance, makeup or accessories
  • You are versatile, organized, motivated, methodical, and professional
  • You have an excellent sense of customer service
  • A natural passion for people & service
  • The ability to adapt to different cultures & a real sense of empathy
  • A team player attitude to reach a common goal & go the extra mile
  • A strong appreciation for architecture, exhibits, and museums to engage our customers
  • You have a good knowledge French and English. Other languages are a major plus.
