Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse operative with a valid Forklift license to join our client in the Inverkeithing area of Fife.

This is a long-term opportunity, leading to a permanent position for the right candidate, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - paid at 12 per hour. Additional benefits include:

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver will include:

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles both manually and using a forklift
• Storing and receiving goods from throughout the warehouse
• Manoeuvring the forklift safely in a busy environment
• Ensuring the warehouse areas are free from hazards

To be successful in this warehouse/FLT role you will have a valid forklift licence, combined with previous practical experience operating in a warehouse or other busy environment. Plus, the following skills, traits and experience:

• Good in/out experience is advantageous
• Good degree of computer skills
• The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
