Overview

Our Pen Underwriting arm is going from strength to strength, and we are hiring an interim credit controller for a 9 month contract to support business growth and a recent acquisition.

How you'll make an impact

  • As an expert Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal role in reducing the age debt and resolving outstanding balances with our clients.
  • Building relationship with both our clients and key stakeholders
  • Delivery insightful reports on aged debt, identifying potential bad debt risks and issues
  • Nurture the talents of our less experienced team members with your guidance and support
  • Regularly host forums with the business units to nip issues in the bud and keep the wheels turning efficiently
  • We thrive with improvement, so welcome suggestions to enhance collections and operations
  • Responsible for preparing the statement of accounts
  • Resolving complex queries
  • Reconciling cash payments to the correct invoice
  • Assist with systems testing, helping us implement innovative solutions and promptly flagging any issues to our IT team.
  • Working in a multi-currency environment
  • Utilising Excel on a daily basis to process, analyse and reconcile large data sets

About You

  • Your track record of credit control excellence
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, notably we are seeking strong Excel
  • A results driven personality
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
