“Gardening is for retired people and where dreams go to die…” is an opinion I used to hold before I had a garden (well maybe I wasn’t that harsh – but I didn’t get it).

But, now that I own a garden I realise how wrong I was!

I am now wholly convinced that gardening is basically an adrenaline filled endurance sport.

And this – all after I’d spent more on building raised beds than a decade of savings on LIDL ‘pick of the week’ deals.

Now, I don’t write this to brag about my green fingered adventures.

But it is a flex nonetheless.
