Maintenance Electrician
Wakefield, Yorkshire
Temporary to Permanent Contract
Start Date: ASAP
£36,000 - £42,000 per annum
One of the leading Facilities Management companies are currently looking for Maintenance Electrician to join their team on an Temporary to Permanent Contract based on commercial retail site on Wakefield.
Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week - 8am - 4:30pm
Duties:
To provide Site based Electrical Maintenance repairs as directed by the Site Facilities Manager in accordance with the contract. To work independently and manage own time, appropriately escalating and seeking advice from the Electrical Supervisor and Facilities Manager when necessary. (emergency Lighting, fault finding etc)
To provide a flexible approach to working practices within the maintenance team which could involve undertaking tasks of a basic mechanical / plumbing / Handyman duties.
Ensure contractual services are delivered in such a way that it is possible to achieve agreed SLA's and quality targets.
To produce accurate documentation as required and to keep up-to-date records of statutory inspections e.g. emergency lighting tests, etc.
Attend training courses funded for as required for business purposes.
Person Requirements
Fully qualified and experienced Electrician
18th Edition (Essential)
Knowledge of M&E standards
Water Hygiene L8 awareness (desirable)
Experience of building and facilities maintenance.
