Embedded Software Engineer (Controls / Automation)
£45,000 - £52,000 + VISA Sponsorship Available + 31 Days Holiday + Annual Bonus

Are you an Embedded Software Engineer with knowledge of Industrial Automation or Control Systems, looking for a role offering autonomy, working cross-functionally with Electrical and Controls Engineers to develop turn-key solutions for this companies cutting edge products?
Are you looking for one-on-one training from Senior Engineers to progress your career and become a technical expert in System Integration in an office based programming environment?
In this office based role, your responsibilities will include collaborating with Electrical, Electronic, Controls and Software Engineers to integrate sensors, instrumentation and controls using embedded programming languages such as C/ C++. Working collaboratively, you will be trained by senior staff on how best to implement solutions, learning a unique skillset to become a technical expert.
This market leading company supply into the scientific and research sectors. They have carved out a profitable niche, designing patent protected products that generate extremely pure gas for laboratory applications. With over 700 internal staff, they are looking for a Junior Mechatronics Engineer to take their business to the next level.
This role would suit an Embedded Software Engineer or someone with knowledge of Electrical Controls / PLC Programming, looking to work collaboratively with senior Engineers to become a technical expert for a company on the cutting edge of scientific advancement.
The Role:
Embedded Software/Firmware Development for PLCs / Industrial Automation Technology
Integrating sensors, actuators and control systems for laboratory gas generators
Designing and programming control systems from scratch using C/C++ and MATLAB
Working alongside experienced Controls Engineers to integrate, debug and test systems
Comprehensive training to become a technical expert
Work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (flexible hours available)The Person:
