Are you ready to make a real impact? We’re on the lookout for a strategic and Head of Internal Communications for a 12-month period. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our communications strategy as we navigate some exciting transformation.


You’ll take charge of all internal communications across our companies, providing strategic and operational direction to our CEO and leadership team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with CEOs and Executive Leadership members to develop, manage and streamline communication plans that inspire colleagues, and enhances colleague engagement for all businesses.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that communications and branding are aligned, including building and maintaining a strong employer brand with the talent team.
  • Assist the Executive Leadership teams and Board of Directors with all internal and external announcements including RNS releases, content creation and communication scheduling
  • Provide strategic advice on media relations, crisis communication, and public affairs and work closely with external agencies on annual reports and press releases.
  • Lead the communications strategy for transformation projects that may impact colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Oversee the content development and maintenance of the company’s intranet.


What you’ll bring to HSS:

  • Strong background of developing and implementing communication strategies
  • The ability to establish trusted relationships with Executive Leadership teams and senior stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker, skilled in adapting communication plans and the style of content for a range of audiences, and according to differing leadership styles.
  • The ability to pivot plans at short notice, and the stamina to overcome challenges and identify solutions in an environment of fast-paced change.
