Position Overview:

Signature Flatbreads UK Ltd is seeking a driven and experienced Key Account Manager – Benelux. The Role will be responsible for managing and growing Signature Flatbreads’ European sales by developing strong relationships with international customers and distributors. The role requires an individual who can develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, manage key accounts, and ensure excellent customer service in international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management:
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key European national accounts ensuring long-term partnerships and business growth.
  • Take full ownership of account performance, including achieving sales targets, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead negotiations, including price reviews, contract renewals, and new business opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy & Growth:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to individual accounts to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director to align account strategies with company objectives.
  • Customer Focus:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, understanding their business needs and delivering solutions to meet those needs.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and delivering a consistent, reliable service.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis:
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify potential opportunities or threats.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on market conditions, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and product development, to ensure seamless delivery of customer requirements.
  • Collaborate on new product launches and promotional activities.
  • Financial Management:
  • Manage account P&L, ensuring that accounts are profitable and meeting financial targets.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Relationship Development:
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Attend customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows to maintain visibility and promote Signature Flatbreads’ products.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a national account management or equivalent role, ideally within the FMCG or food industry.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing retail and/or foodservice accounts.
  • Experience within European Retailers is highly desirable.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Honest, trustworthy, and empathetic.
  • Composed under pressure.
  • A team player, always putting the collective mission/vision first.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to meet with customers across the European Region.
  • Fluent in English
  • One additional language (French or Dutch) is an advantage but not essential.
