Product Designer

Our client delivers high-end projects on behalf of premium and luxury global brands.

As part of their ambitious growth, they are looking for a Product Designer with experience of producing designs and production drawings for retail and/or exhibitions to join their dynamic team. they are not opren to relocations so you should already be living within a commutable distance.

As the Product Designer you will be responsible for:

• Creating full, accurate and detailed working production drawings
• Participating in internal and external meetings to effectively present design work, from pitch through to development
• Providing creative and technical advice to guide the team and clients when making design-based decisions
• Conducting site visits, surveys and overseeing on-site builds as required
• Managing own workloads with a hands-on approach to all aspects of the role

Skills and Experience needed from the Product Designer:

• Sound experience in successfully producing detailed technical drawings for production and construction (the design & build)
• Excellent design skills with attention to detail
• Up to date knowledge of trends, technology, materials, finishes and manufacturing methods
• AutoCAD, SolidWorks and/or VectorWorks

In return salary will be in the range of £40k - £45k dependant on skillset with at least 3 days based in the office so you will still need to be living within a short commute. In addition they offer 22 days of holiday + bank holidays, a company pension and high street shop discounts.
