System Engineer

Systems Engineer // Chesham - £38K-£45K

I am looking for an expertly skilled systems engineer to recommend for an exciting opportunity with my client, a Microsoft Certified MSP.

The ideal candidate for this role will have thorough experience in constructing projects as well as providing IT support, and be confident providing highly personable assistance to many clients.

This role will be a combination of being in the field and working remotely, conducting both home-working support as well as office-based days and travel to client sites. We are particularly interested in candidates with relevant experience in the following areas:

• Building and supporting core technologies (e.g. Microsoft Server all versions, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Remote Desktop and RDApp infrastructure, VMware, Hyper V, Cisco, Citrix, Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune)
• Installing and maintaining internal servers, as well as client systems and cloud applications
• Working with client appware, servers, peripherals and networks
• Proven ability to multitask customer service, prioritizing client needs and ensuring satisfaction, occasionally on short notice

In addition to technical expertise, candidates who excel in both written and verbal communication, particularly over the phone, will be highly desirable. Strong communication skills are critical for this position, as you'll need to convey complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
