Senior Associate / Legal Director - Employment Law Specialist - London

Our client, a specialist employment and partnership law practice in London, is seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer / Legal Director to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an employment law expert to advance their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Overview

As a Legal Director, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice to clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. You will work closely with employers from various sectors, including financial services, professional services, retail, and technology, delivering strategic guidance on complex employment issues.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad spectrum of employment law matters
• Provide strategic counsel on senior executive disputes and exits
• Draft and negotiate employment documentation and remuneration arrangements
• Guide clients on policy matters, including restructuring and diversity initiatives
• Advise on employee competition issues and team moves
• Deliver expert guidance to professional services firms on partnership-related legal issues

Requirements

• Qualified England and Wales Solicitor with at least 8 years' PQE
• Extensive advisory and litigation experience in employment law
• High Court litigation and commercial litigation experience with an employment focus
• Proven track record of success in a senior associate or legal director role
• Strong client relationship management and business development skills
• Keen attitude to develop and succeed within a specialist practice
