Project Manager Scrum Master - Client Onboarding

Albany Beck are hiring for a Project Manager/Scrum Master to join the business and work with a leading Investment Bank based in London on a long-term programme looking after their onboarding workstream

Work with a leading Investment Bank, at the forefront of financial services innovation, as they continue to enhance their onboarding processes to provide a seamless client experience. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master with Salesforce experience to lead their onboarding workstream within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As a key player in this transformation, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects that streamline and optimize client onboarding processes, working across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the onboarding workstream, ensuring timely delivery of projects in alignment with business objectives.
• Act as both a Project Manager and Scrum Master, driving both traditional and Agile project methodologies.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, compliance, and client services to ensure project goals are met.
• Track project progress, risks, and dependencies, providing clear status updates to senior stakeholders.
• Identify bottlenecks and remove obstacles that hinder team productivity and project delivery.
• Ensure alignment between onboarding initiatives and the wider banking transformation programme.
• Manage and report on project budgets, timelines, resources, and risks.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the teams, advocating for best practices in Agile and project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager and Scrum Master, ideally within the investment banking or financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of client onboarding processes and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional Waterfall project management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies, delivering on time and within scope.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
• Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM) and Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
