So if you're looking to do what you love, we could be a perfect match.Our expectationsReporting to the Coach, DDC, the Driver Helper accompanies Truck Drivers for deliveries of products that require handling.Your roleTransport goods from the site truck designated by the customers, respecting standards and service objectivesHandle products when requiredProvide customer service according to SMART principles and call customers ahead of deliveryVerify loads prior to delivery (pump truck use, tailgate use)Assist the truck driver in the administration of receipts and paymentsGuide the driver when they are reversingHelp prepare orders and fill trucksProvide and participate in department maintenanceWork in accordance with company policies and procedures on health and safety and loss preventionPerform any other related task as indicated by the management teamThe qualifications we are looking forSecondary V diploma (an asset)Class 5E driver's licence (an asset)Ability to perform continuous physical work, including lifting loads up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds)Work outdoors 50 to 80% of the timeAbility to work in constant movement in the truck to accompany the truckerRONA is committed to encouraging diversity and inclusion.
