Job Title: iOS Developer Job Type : 6 month contract with the potential of extension Job Location: Remote (EST time) Our client, a very well known grocery delivery and pick-up service in the United States, is migrating all retailers from an older legacy Storefront platform (based in Python) to a newly built one. Going to be building out new features and work on new customer requests. All net new development, not much maintenance at this stage. Working on IOS applications using Swift Using MVVM Coordinator design pattern Working on Reactive Programming style using RxSwift Working heavily on Modularization of the app components Getting involved in Cloud architectural related decisions for GCP and AWS Working in Agile Methodology Also helping in some architectural decisions like MicroService Vs Monolithic architecture Hands-On Experience using full CI/CD pipeline on a mobile project Working on client development infrastructure Manage the Code Review process for all development team Work closely with Lead Architect and synchronize multiple mobile platforms Participating project and tasks planning discussions Standardized development lifecycle with the code review process and continuous integration Support client business requirements discussions to include the technical perspective and their feasibility Description Significant experience with Swift Significant experience with RxSwift or Combine (Reactive programming) Ability to work on your own - working independently RxSwift or Combine (Reactive programming) Ability to write unit tests (Quick and Nimble, XC Test) and/or snapshot tests In-depth knowledge of UIKit Technical code Patterns for MVI / MVVM Extensive experience working on Apple technologies like Location, push notifications etc. Ability to work with little to no supervision Has worked on client server applications while working on a team to deliver a project on time.
