Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW Unity Managing Underwriters Limited, a Navacord Partner, is hiring for a Client Service Representative reporting to Senior Vice President, Sales. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of insurance processes, and a commitment to providing top-notch service to our clients. As a Client Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing client interactions, assisting with claims, and supporting policy administration. RESPONSIBILITIES : Client and Broker Support Respond promptly to emails, phone calls, and live chat inquiries from clients and broker partners. Provide accurate information and resolve issues related to policies, claims, and general inquiries. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective and empathetic communication. Claims Assistance: Assist the Claims department with the initial reporting of claims. Prepare and organize claim files for review by Claims Adjusters. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims-related activities. Policy Payment Management: Monitor and manage outstanding financed policy payments. Follow up with clients as necessary to resolve payment issues and ensure timely resolution. Policy Issuance and Management: Support broker partners and clients with policy issuance, including handling transaction troubleshooting, midterm changes, error corrections, and policy cancellations. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely policy management. Additional Duties: Assist with other administrative tasks as required to support the efficient operation of the department. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and company policies. REQUIREMENTS: 1 year of customer service experience in the financial industry an asset General Insurance Level 1 license, an asset Strong accuracy and detail orientation skills Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills Professional written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word and EPIC (brokerage software) preferred Navacord is actively committed to support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
