Mig Welder/ Fabricator

Advantage are currently recruiting on behalf of our manufacturing client, who is looking to recruit Mig Welder/Fabricators for their site based in Leeds.

This is a temporary role which will lead to a permanent position after 12 weeks, for the right candidates.

Most of the day-to-day tasks will be working from jigs with mild steel box section/plate material, however the ideal candidate will be flexible in helping in different areas which may include fabrication (punching/cutting/notching material) or in final assembly.

Responsibilities:

* Fabricate components from Jigs

* Occasional fabricating of parts from lengths of material

* Using Press Machine, Bending machine & Guillotine

* Mainly mild steel work with the occasional pre-galv/galvanised components
