Document Controller – Hotel/Commercial Projects

Overview
We are currently seeking a Document Controller with experience in construction projects, specifically within the hotel and commercial sectors, to join a reputable construction group in London. This role is based on a high-profile project in SW1.
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain all project documentation, ensuring it is up to date, accurate, and compliant with company standards
* Control the flow of documents between internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
* Ensure that all documentation meets regulatory and project-specific requirements
* Coordinate document revisions, ensuring they are properly recorded and distributed to relevant parties
* Support the project management and design teams with administrative duties related to documentation
* Monitor the document lifecycle and ensure documents are stored securely and can be easily retrieved when needed
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Document Controller in the construction industry, ideally within hotel or commercial projects
* Strong understanding of document control processes and systems, with experience using common construction software (e.g., Aconex, Viewpoint, etc.)
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documents efficiently
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
