Job Title: Labour Allocator / Planning co-ordinator

Location: Hainault, Essex

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 DOE

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

About Our Client:

We are looking for a Labour allocator / planning co-ordinator, committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Labour Allocator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating a team of engineers, ensuring efficient delivery of both reactive and planned works, while maintaining a focus on excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

· Allocate engineers and subcontractors to reactive, planned, and quoted work orders, ensuring efficient and commercially sound delivery.

· Manage a team of engineers, maximising workload and job completion rates.

· Collaborate with Estimators to ensure successful delivery of quoted works.

· Keep customer portals updated promptly and provide customers with RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements).

· Organise plant equipment, out-of-hours guarding, and permits to work as necessary.

· Monitor and improve engineers app usage to enhance efficiency.

· Ensure completed work orders are ready for invoicing.

· Manage client accounts, including WIP, CNR

· Apply appropriate costs and mark-ups to work orders.

· Support the Helpdesk Manager in delivering KPIs and maintaining client updates.

· Drive improvements in supplier performance and service delivery.

· Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

· A positive, solution-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and planning skills, with the ability to get the best out of engineers.

· Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering high standards.

· Experience in managing a small team and working within SLAs.

· Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
