Job Description

A part time HR & Payroll Advisor is required to support the busy HRBP of a London football club’s charitable trust, who provide programmes to their local community in education, health, sports participation and community engagement.


The role will be busy, varied and requires excellent previous HR knowledge and experience across the breadth of HR and the employee lifecycle, helping to support 60 permanent and c.100 contract staff.


Duties will include:


Payroll administration (payroll itself shortly to be outsourced)

Being the first line of contact for all enquiries

Providing ER guidance and support, escalating more complex cases to the HRBP

Recruitment and onboarding

Record management using an HRIS

Benefits administration

HR reporting


Your HRBP is calm, considered and a real pro and she will be an excellent mentor and fantastic to work for.


Experience working for a trust/charity would be ideal. Sports experience is not necessary. Only those with previous HR and payroll experience working in the UK should apply. CIPD L5 qualified candidates will be at an advantage.


Please note that you will be required to work 21 hours per week, either across 3 days or working ‘school’ hours across 5. There is the option to WFH one day per week.
