Job Description:


We’re recruiting for a leading provider of SaaS solutions in Sittingbourne.


Our client are looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful deployment of their software solutions, in additional to improving business process'. The role requires someone with strong project management skills to guide implementations from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining clear objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Lead the end-to-end execution of software implementation projects, ensuring all goals are met within agreed schedules and budgets.
  • Resource Allocation: Strategically allocate resources, including team members and technology assets, to maximize project efficiency and outcomes while minimizing resource wastage.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, cross-functional teams, and external partners. Foster collaboration and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Identification & Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and challenges that could impede project progress. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and keep projects on track.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that software, modules, and technologies are implemented to the highest standards, adhering to predefined quality criteria and performance benchmarks.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Continuously evaluate project performance, track progress against key metrics, and provide transparent updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise during the implementation process. Employ creative problem-solving skills to keep projects on track and ensure successful delivery.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Project Management: Proven expertise in planning, executing, and managing software implementation projects. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within defined scope.
  • Resource Management: Demonstrated ability to allocate personnel and technological resources effectively to achieve optimal project results.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.
  • Risk Management: Experience in identifying risks early in the project lifecycle and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Understanding of software quality standards and the ability to ensure that digital solutions meet or exceed customer expectations and performance benchmarks.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Skill in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular, transparent updates to stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on overcoming obstacles and keeping projects on track toward successful completion.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing software implementation projects, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Business process improvement experience.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, ClickUp) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
