Reports to: Head of Logistics Centre


Location: North-west London

Established in 1982, Halcyon Gallery is a leading international art gallery specialising in modern and contemporary art. With locations on Bond Street and at Harrods, Knightsbridge, Halcyon Gallery showcases art from emerging and established artists.


We are looking for an experienced, professional Logistics Driver to add to our team.


Job responsibilities:

Please note that this is a transport- focused role therefore, we can only consider applicants with the relevant experience and qualifications.


The main objective is to transport artwork safely to and from various sites

These include but are not limited to: suppliers, framing workshops and galleries

Packing and unpacking artwork for transportation

Handling all artwork and installations carefully and with due consideration

Working alongside a team of logistics professionals, managing time and deadlines effectively


It may be necessary to work weekends and/or long hours on occasion.

Qualifications

Full, clean UK driving license (5 years+) is essential; Category B.

Experience of driving vans and transporting delicate items essential (HGV not essential)

Experience of transporting fragile goods is highly advantageous

Smart personal presentation essential (full uniform provided).

Good spoken and written English essential


Additional Information

Candidates must be qualified to work within the UK.

Knowledge of, and qualifications in, using forklift trucks, WAV machines and other warehouse machinery is useful but not essential.
