Your Role as the new Office Manager:
You'll be the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. From client interactions to team coordination, your organisational abilities and proactive approach will be essential.
Some of Your Key Accountabilities will include:
- Be the welcoming face of our company: Answer calls, respond to emails, and greet clients professionally.
- Manage daily ops tasks: Prepare quotes, schedule appointments, process transactions, and maintain organised records.
- Support the team: Coordinate meetings, track expenses, and assist directors and managers in staying on top of their responsibilities.
- Maintain the office: Order supplies, manage contractors, and ensure a clean and functional workspace.
- Build a strong team: Onboard new staff and organise team-building activities to foster a positive work environment.
You’ll be a terrific candidate for the team if you have the following experience and personality traits:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager
- Ideally worked within construction or trades previously
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Ability and experience in managing a small team of 1-2 people
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proactive problem-solver
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Positive and adaptable attitude
Overview of the role:
- Role: Office Manager
- Full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm) with an early finish on Fridays at 4:30 pm.
- Competitive salary: £32,000 to £35,000 per year
- Benefits include 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
