Harmonic are proud to be collaborating with an exciting FMCG business to recruit their first Sales Order Executive. Having scaled rapidly in just a few years, they are now looking to strengthen their operations team as part of their continued growth.
This is a unique opportunity for a local professional to gain experience with a fast-growing company. Based at their production site, you'll work alongside the Finance and Operations teams to assist with processing sales orders. The position begins as a full-time, six-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension.
The company fosters a non-corporate, fun culture, with the team frequently working on new products and exciting projects. They believe strongly in the value of this role being on-site four days a week.
The Role
- Responsible for creating and thoroughly maintaining all customer data.
- Managing and assisting with the processing of sales orders received via email and phone.
- Ensuring consistent high-level customer service.
- Handling all sales order queries, escalating these when necessary.
- Working closely with the Ops team to ensure stock is available to fulfil orders each day.
- Making sure that all orders are routed and outbound deliveries are sent to 3PL’s for dispatch.
- Communicating with customers to resolve any issues related to shortages.
- Working closely with the Finance Team to manage new accounts and ensure invoices are correctly and efficiently paid.
- Investigating and issuing credit notes for customer claims when needed.
What our client would like to see (essential):
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills and administrative skills
- Ability to work swiftly and accurately as part of a small and dynamic team
- Previous experience in FMCG, e-commerce, food & beverage, fashion, retail sectors
What we would like to see (non-essential):
- Previous experience in supply chain or logistics would be beneficial
- Desire to be part of a fast growth SME and environment where there is a lot of growth and development
- Experience working with Xero would be beneficial
Salary: £26,000 to £29,000
Start-date: ASAP
