Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced estimator with a strong background in drainage and highways to join their team.
This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 and the opportunity to work on a range of exciting infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for road and civil contracts
Analyze plans, drawings, and project specifications to deliver accurate costings
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project requirements
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, labor, and equipment costsKey Requirements:
Proven experience in civil engineering or road construction estimating
Familiarity with highways and drainage projects is highly desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
