• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Veterinary field experience: 1 year (Required)
• Veterinary pharmacy experience: (Preferred)
• Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Description

This is a special practice with a team who are dedicated to providing our clients and their pets with exceptional care. A variety of shifts including nights and weekends and holidays are required.
Summary:
The responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician include, but are not limited to the following activities:
-Maintaining and supporting a positive client experience.
-Respond to all pharmacy requests accurately in a timely manner.
-Be diligent and accurate with recording all medication requests, fulfillments, internal communication, and client communications across our operating platforms.
-Keep the pharmacy department organized. Be aware of medication inventory and alert inventory employees when medications need to be ordered.
-Consistently remains compliant with all legal and/or company regulations for the industry.
-Report accuracy or mislabeled product issues to leadership.
-Monitor Slack channels and respond to requests in a timely manner.
-Communicate effectively with doctors and support staff regarding medication requests.
-Work well with all team members and ensure that actions support the hospital, the doctors, and the practice philosophy.
-Attend regular department meetings.
-Check ACV email on a regular basis to ensure timely communication with management and staff.
