Senior Communication Manager and Corporate Affairs

We are seeking an experienced Senior Communication Manager and Corporate Affairs professional to lead our communication strategy and enhance our corporate reputation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication plans, managing media relations, and driving corporate social responsibility initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a passion for corporate communications
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Communication Planning:
o Develop and implement effective communication strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
o Manage the organization’s external and internal communications, ensuring consistency in messaging across all channels.
o Design, deliver, and manage the marketing communications strategies across all touchpoints to support the achievement of company’s growth objectives; including guidance on budget, timing, and measures of success
o Partner with each end use market and technology team to understand their business and marketing objectives, then develop multi-channel engagement & communications strategies to deliver against those objectives and drive new business opportunity in to company
o Lead demand generation activity; collaborate with commercial teams to identify growth imperatives and develop strategies to generate and nurture leads, enhance pipeline, and convert to new business
o Develop journey maps and nurture strategies for key personas against key insight messages. Work with strategic marketing to agree engagement approaches, targets, and KPIs that ladder to the overall company objectives.
2. Media Relations:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives and industry stakeholders.
o Act as the primary spokesperson and handle press inquiries, media events, and press releases.
o Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on media effectiveness and reputation management.
3. Corporate Affairs:
o Oversee corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, ensuring alignment with corporate values and stakeholder expectations.
o Engage with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and industry groups.
o Advocate for corporate interests and represent the company in relevant forums and policy discussions.
4. Content Development:
o Lead the development of engaging content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and corporate publications.
o Ensure all communication materials are on-brand and support the company's narrative.
o Partner with the Global Content teams to manage regional executions of company’s content strategy on company´s website and beyond – ensuring commercial relevancy throughout South America

o Accountable for the visual communication (Corporate & External) guidelines and governance across business within the region
5. Crisis Communication:
o Develop and implement crisis communication strategies and response plans to protect the company’s reputation.
o Provide training and support to senior leadership on crisis communication and media preparedness.
6. Team Leadership:
o Manage and mentor the communications team, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional development.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote comprehensive public relations efforts.
o Partner with Global digital and ICT to develop enhanced customer experience on company website
7. Performance Measurement:
o Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and initiatives.
o Regularly report on key metrics and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.
8. Digital
Leverage Marketing Automation tools to develop, manage, and deploy all marketing campaigns to deliver against each plan
Lead the integration, socialization, and education of company marketing automation, demand generation, and customer nurturing programs amongst all commercial teams throughout the region
Partner with Global digital and ICT to develop enhanced customer experience on company´s website
9. Partner with regional Food Services teams to bring digital and eCommerce expertise to their business and marketing planning teams, align closely to support and optimize the roadmap for eCommerce
Scale eCommerce merchandising/content strategy across retail and distribution platforms
Qualifications: Education & Training
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Proven track record in managing media relations and corporate affairs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with crisis communication and reputation management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
