Company: Upper Canada Soap and Candlemakers Reports to: Senior Sales Executive Administrator. Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. We are seeking a passionate and driven Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our company. The sky is the limit, and we want fearless, like-minded people to soar with us YOUR ROLE IN THE COMPANY: As our sales coordinator, you will be the backbone of our sales team. You will play a vital role in coordinating sales activities, supporting the team, and ensuring smooth operations to help us meet and exceed our sales goals. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be key to our success. AS WELL AS: • Prepare customer proposals, follow up on all quotes and order processes • Create and manage sales presentations. • Provide support for setting up new accounts and managing product listings. Navigate and manage online product setup portals. • Perform general administrative tasks, including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing. • Prepare and maintain sales reports as needed. • Organize product samples for customer meetings and coordinate their return and refiling to the showroom and/or warehouse in accordance with the Company’s sample procedures. • Coordinate the distribution of product samples to sales staff and external customers. • Assist the sales team with project-based work and travel arrangements. • Attend and represent the Company at tradeshows, as needed. • Place purchase orders and monitor their progress. • Perform additional tasks as needed, related to the role. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: • High school diploma or certificate in business administration, sales, or marketing is preferred. • 2-4 years of prior experience in a sales coordinator, office administrator or executive assistant role, preferably in the beauty, bath, health and retail industry. • Experience with navigating and managing customer portals. • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Quick to learn and adapt. Able to pivot work priorities to meet the dynamic demands of the business. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. As well as listening skills. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Great interpersonal skills. Able to professionally interact with people and work on group projects. • Enjoys taking on exciting challenges and seeking new opportunities. • Prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity. • Ability to work independently with little direction, as well as in a team environment. • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • High level of integrity and excellent work ethic. • Passionate about beauty – prior experience or a genuine interest in the beauty industry is a plus.
